Eyelid Lift / Blepharoplasty

Also known as Blepharoplasty, this surgery may improve the appearance of the eyelids (upper, lower or both) to make one look more rested and alert.  Should it be determined through testing that your peripheral vision is significantly compromised because of the hooding of the upper eyelids, this procedure may be covered by insurance.  The surgery is performed on an outpatient basis and down time is minimal.

Often when someone talks with me about having a face lift it is because they see a heaviness in their expression that may solely be caused by sagging or drooping eyelids.  A blepharoplasty can often give as dramatic a change to the overall face as a face lift itself but with a much simpler surgical approach.
